A commanding expression of Orin Swift Cellars, the 2021 Papillon is a bold Bordeaux-style red blend crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. Sourced from across Napa Valley, this vintage pours a striking dark crimson with flashes of neon purple and a ruby rim, inviting you into a wine of depth and complexity.

On the nose, expressive aromas of boysenberry jam, violets, and chocolate-covered blueberry are layered with intriguing nuances of Cara Cara orange rind, graphite, and brioche. The palate is rich yet vibrant, revealing cassis, blackberry, and warm baking spices framed by an enveloping texture and chalky, drying tannins that carry through to a long, resonant finish.

The wine was aged in French oak for 13 months (44% new), allowing the fruit and oak character to integrate seamlessly while preserving freshness and structure.
