Brewed using quality malted barley, water, yeast, and distinctive New Zealand hops, Steinlager is crafted through a cold fermentation and maturation process to achieve clarity and a refined flavour profile. The flagship variants, such as Steinlager Classic and Steinlager Pure, typically sit around 5.0% ABV.
The beer pours a bright golden colour with lively carbonation and a firm, white head. On the palate, it delivers a well-balanced combination of light malt sweetness and pronounced hop bitterness. Signature New Zealand hops, such as Green Bullet or Pacific Jade, contribute subtle grassy, herbal, and slightly citrus notes.
